IF - Wrinkles

Sometimes the extremely old remind me of wood sculptures, their skin resembles the texture of rough bark. A living totem pole almost! Hope you enjoy.

Love the drawing - is it of something (a sculpture) or someone specific? Or just lovely wrinkles? Thanks for visiting my site... the wrinkles are there, believe me!

Hi Neil
Great illustration. Thanks for your comments - and yes, apart from a quick pencil sketch, the rest of the work was done on the computer.

Thanks for your comment on my drawing! And I totally agree with your wooden sculpture observation, wrinkles can be so beautiful and artistic. Your drawing captures that wonderfully.

I'm reading a book about magic right now, and so your figure to me looks like some magical creature half man half tree. Very cool. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Great work! It reminds me so much of the totems in Canada and the pacific islands!
