IF: Worry
‘No doubt I now grew very pale; - but I talked more fluently, and with a heightened voice. Yet the sound increased - and what could I do? It was a low, dull, quick sound - much such a sound as a watch makes when enveloped in cotton. I gasped for breath - and yet the officers heard it not.’
The Tell Tale Heart

brrr... i remember how creepy story was this! that gives me the creeps still at the moment, when i'm watching your drawing - it has fantastic cloudy spirit and antique style! poe could have loved it.
i adore the composition and the viewpoint.

Hi Neil, it looks like I need to expand my reading list - not that I haven't known this for a long time.
I could comment on composition, perspective etc that all go to making this a fine piece but do know what I'm a sucker for hidden or subtle details and those hearts in the wood grain are a very nice touch.
This is an impressive drawing, and a perfect fit for the topic! Well done! Thanks for visiting me on my site, so I could find and visit yours!
